I've also had an interested in the leon's, i've always wanted a Toyoa Starlet GT Turbo for years but since having a baby it wasn't ideal and was looking for about a month to which car to get.

26th Feb 2011 i found a Seat Leon Cupra 2000 in Sittingbourne, Kent on AutoTrader so spoke to the garage (St Michaels Garage) to come have a look.

5th March went to the garage to view the car and when i first saw it, i said to myself i want that car. So spoke to the sales man and got it.

10th March 2011 i went to pick the car up.

It's completey standard has shed loads of history and one owner so i know it's been looked after.

From my previous car i had a universal air filter and i thought i'll but it on for the time being soon i've got some more money to get a better one.

SAM_0311.jpg

there is one problem with the car there isn't no evidence about the cambelt being done so that is first on my list and been qouted from a local garage for about £240.00.

26th March 2011

have been looking about the N249 bypass and thought i'll give it ago, brough some silicone from ebay. i think i've done it right lol.

30th May I fitted toyosport CAI and also Forge 007P dump valve. The toyosport cai was abit of pain to fit but got there in the end. I also moved the oil catch can.

I read up about reversing the dump valve to make it louder and I didn't like so put it back to normal.

I also got myself HID H7R 8000k but they sent the wrong bulbs but as soon as i receive them I get a photo.

went for an MOT today and failed but was quite shocked that it wasn't that bad.

Failed because one tyre need replacing, Nail in one tyre and full beam needed a bulb has forgot to put bulb back in.

I thought it would of been worst because the rear left door doesn't open and thought that made it fail because it's not safe.

Next getting all parts for servicing the car, changing the Oil pickup, Cam Chain gasket and rocket cover gasket.

Got loads of goodies today.

SAM_0748.jpg

Started working by first draining the coolant.

Unplug cap on coolant tank.

SAM_0749.jpg

Located drain plug underneath car.

SAM_0750.jpg

Once all the coolant was drained, closed tap, filled tank up with water, turned the engine on for 1-2 minute with the heaters at maxium then drained water again and this until it was clear.

Next I did drained the oil. (Didn't get picture)

Next I worked on the SIA, unplugged the plug and then did the three screws holding the SIA.

SAM_0757.jpg

Removed all the hoses to SIA.

SAM_0760.jpg

Now have completly removed N112 valve and the other valve.

SAM_0759.jpg

Took the coilpacks out and sparkplugs.

SAM_0754.jpg

One of the coilpack was really badly burnt.

SAM_0752.jpg

will upload a video of the boost gauge. I got the gauge quite cheap and doesn't sound to good but it works unless its meant to sound like that.
