Received my intercooler on thursday.

SAM_0845.jpg

Straight away got to work and started fitting it.

First off remove the Fog grills and black plastic strip.

Removed the two screws each side.

Removed the two screws that where behind the black plastic strip on each side.

Next removed the torx screw each side of the arches.

SAM_0840-2.jpg

Didn't have much access to get to the guides inside the arches so had to remove wheels and then removed two screws.

SAM_0849-2.jpg

Now I was able to remove the bumper.

SAM_0850.jpg

Decided where to place the intercooler mountings and started drilling.

SAM_0853.jpg

Looking good so far.

SAM_0854.jpg

Removed the left headlight which made it easier to get access to the smic and started removing.

There are three srews holding the smic and are very noticeable. Be warned when removing the map sensor the bolts might snapped as mine did and where very rusty.

SAM_0852-2.jpg

Starting installing the pipes for the new intercooler, started from the inlet first.

SAM_0855.jpg

SAM_0856.jpg

Tightened all bolts.

next started on the other side and for more access it best to remove wheel as had to cut through plastic.

SAM_0859.jpg

Now the front is all bolted up.

SAM_0857.jpg

Took abit time to tightened bolts as there's not much room.

SAM_0860.jpg

Now all pipes are connected and bolted up. Here are some finish pictures.

Now putting the bumper back on was a pain in the arse had to do alot of cutting as the bumper wouldn't fit on but I'm not to bothered as in the future i want to get a better bumper.

Didn't have time to remove the old piping and pancake but will do that soon as.

Don't know much different as I can't tell because my map sensor needs bolting in as I snapped one of the bolts but will order so bolts.

ah cracking price that, i brought the turborevs one and i dont recomend anyone buying it as so much modifying needs to be done, will have a look at the toyosports one though and see if they sell the piping kit seperatly.

Service car today. (Changed Oil, Oil Filter, Spark Plugs and coolant.)

Installed ECS Tuning Sump Plug and Gearbox Plug.

Changed Thermostat which took awhile couldn't get the bottom bolt undone but can't there in the end.

Also engine starting to make a knocking noise when the car is warmed up. When rev engine or drive the noise goes away and it's starting to bug me.

Did you get that tapping sorted? Thats the top end gone dry id say, you need to change the pickup pipe in the sump.

I haven't got it sorted out which i really need to do. I've got a new pickup just need to buy some oil and I need a longer hex socket for taking the sump off and if that's not the problem then will have to change the cam chain tensioner, was just going to change cam chain tensioner but that aint cheap and first will do the pickup as it could be that. Might do it this weekend actually once I've got some time.

no it hasn't got the toyosport badge on but I thought they all came from toyosport.

This is where I got it from:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180905940388?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

I've contaced them just wating on a reply.

Yeah it was well packaged cheers mate didn't look the easiest to pack.

I'm not too bothered about that just give it a good clean, can't complain really as like you said got a bargain really got a full exhaust system less than £280 which aint bad at all.
