Read the thread from start to finish and i must say, you are indeed LEGEND !!! ;)

Loving the car and the work you have done, got to say that i would have probably given up on it when the first lot of problems occurred so fair play for sticking with it.

Just makes me want a track hack to play about with... will have to make a start on softening up SWMBO

I have a trackday at Oulton Park park in Febuary and seeing as the car hasn't moved/run in 3 months it was time to get my finger out.

Got fed up with the smaller bike battery I had fitted for about a year with it going to flat too quickly. decided to revert to a 1.4 sized battery which I aqquired in germany and have mounted it in a GRP battery box in the wheel well. The battery box sits on an a welded angle frame bolted through and a battery hold down clamp over the top.

Tommorow I get jiggy with some ACME strength structural Araldite :funk:

Great car. Must be a pleasure to drive. I so envy your trip to nordschailfe (i'e done there hundreds of laps but in a computer simulation hehe) . I hope your friend didn't loose the membership due to you using it.

Nah he's not had his membership revoked and I owe him big time, trust me you woulden't have envied my trip last year the amount of aggro caused!
