Hi Stu,
That was a kent meet at the Kent Diner I think, where things got a little out of hand down the M20:rolleyes:

But yeah Its come along way since I bought it 3yrs ago and It will continue to progress andll get a kick of peoples reaction to it:)

Setbacks - yeah Ive had a few of those but it comes with the territory, tho you learn to take it on the chin and not throw the towel in.

fortunetly I'm running out of things to do to it, next big spend is the gearbox and diff and the its refining certian things as and when funds permit

most certainly was :)

think i remember rightly, that was the same meet that Des came down in the stage4 (??) octy that was stupid quick, and extremely loud.

things often got out of hand down the M20, was one of the reasons for changing the venue to 2-4-1 !

Little bit of an update:)

Got to take another look at the fixings on the splitter, upon mounting the grass at GTi International it pulled out some of the screws, ended up tie wrapping the mofo back on for the drive home:D Also took delivery of some Mattig cup mirrors that GreenGoddess very kindly picked up for me, they'll be rubbed down and blown over during the next two weeks.

All the bits for the Battery relocation turned up during the week and set about doing it today with the aid of some pointers from MartinM, easy enough job to do tho I didn't ground out one of the wires properly and wondered why it ran dog rough:rolleyes: got to get and earthing strap between the motor and chassis and thats all done,

do they make much difference? i really want one as it seems like i change gear from the windscreen all the way to the boot at the moment! lol..and also does the original knob go back on or do you need to use the b&m one?

It shortens the throw quite abit but makes it feel notchy and less refined with it., you can reuse the original knob as the shaft is threaded, but ive used a richbrook touring car one instead

The battery looks tidy where it is. I nearly left that earth form the engine out of mine until my dad pointed it out:doh:

Nice job and all that but why not mount it further back in the boot......its kind of in the way there also and be very careful you dont drop anything on the top of it to short out the terminals

Feeble attempt to keep the weight central in the car, bit on a hiding to nothing with that massive boot its got:lol: Its not really in the way as such, it fits nicely in a void next to fire extinguisher, tho it would be prudent to put some padding around it

Can allways move it to the back if its an issue, cable is cheap enough.
