Cars eh:rolleyes:

Jumped in the car today to discover the battery was dead and despite a 'spirited' drive around before heading to my work premise's it decided not to hold a charge:censored:

Anyway, got the back end off the ground and the wheels, soaked the brake pipe unions in penetrating fluid and left them to soak - low and behold they all cracked off without rounding a single one!! quite a feat as they're known to be soft as shite!!

Once the pipes were off I could determine how long to make the new hoses from the fittings and braided hose that I bought (pics tommorow). All 4 rubber hoses on the rear beam had bulges on them and even one of them was weeping fluid:-o! Bunged the new hoses on, bled with fresh SRF - jobs a good'un

Been looking at Bias valves - cant decide on what type to go for:shrug:

Also fitted the LCR splitter too

Be gentle guys:redface:.....

Kinda fudged it up as its a few mm offcentre but its not going anywhere as theres 14 tec screws holding it in place, Speed humps now a little bit challenging:doh:

Im not quite sure on the splitter, think of the extra weight aswell

Also been looking at bias valves and ditching my abs & traction but that's been put on the backburner for the moment

Supercopa one, eh? :D

I'm unsure, personally - too many "openings" in the front.

Yup;)

I'm with you on the openings - got some foglights going in that came with the m0rksport GTi but going to use the appertures in the valance for the brake ducts, hopefully that will balance it out a little

stu,
the car looks the dogs danglies, and to those that don't know, it's the best kept secret stealth weapon this side of a B2:)

i remember the 1st time i was along side you at the lights,(woz couple of years ago) having heard a little bit, and was not surprised how you wasted me!! i was smiling more at how your beatme than bout being beaten!! (tho i was only in a lowly 1.2 ibiza  not a great deal of competition)

since then, i have seen a bit of fantastic track action (although i can only pretend to understand how much Brands must have been as a let down:( )

trust me, if i had the knowledge and the parts to do the same to my car, i would :)

be proud matey :)
