Have no idea what make it is there's not many people that make them so probably custom , weight is not my problem car weighs enough all ready , need a nice sounding system

So today I made my own illuminating vents and W8 light they each cost £50 + to buy i made them for less than £15 stupidly didn't get any pics of me installing them but its simple , they make the interior so much nicer when sat in there in the dark it's just hard to picture

Honestly I prefer the R32 but I do miss the boost and power but the amount I spent on the Lcr I could have had the R32 running 500+bhp , the R32 isn't slow but it hasn't got the same feel like the Lcr had , I prefer the drive , looks and noise the R32 makes and the interior and build quality is a lot better , I owned the Lcr from standard form so know how they both are standard

Lack of power was my only feeling when I drove one. 1/2 feel quick 3 just seemed to bog down

Tbh the Lcr standard wasn't all that its only when things are done to them that they start coming alive , so at the min I plan to fit my decat possibly get some Milltek manifolds and remap it with my other mods it should see around 270 bhp ish poss more after that it depends if I want to charge / turbo the car or get the shrick cams , the handling at the min is unreal compared to the Leon even before I put the Coilovers on the car

Few other little bits turned up

Little plaque / badge that will sit on the top of the battery box fuse cover

Some led lights for the boot as there poor at the min also a forge powersteering cap that won't be staying polished I'm just waiting to get some strut tops then they will be all sent to be anodised orange

Finished off fitting my components all round sounds so much better just need to get another amp for the sub as its broken

Also got round to fitting the passat mirror switch and I've made a start on the custom liquid gauge holder in the ash tray just need to cut the middle out for the screen

Have you had the poly top mounts fitted yet? Did you get the bearings with them and are you going to be using Polo top caps?

I've been really lazy so haven't fitted them yet but next week I will fit them and yes I will be using the polo top caps and I got the bearings as well
