That's when I'd expect one too, but what's the rush? I've not driven one but I'd doubt the mk3 is that much better to warrant paying however much it'd be, so why not wait it out till they inevitably release their flagship?

I drive my LCR as a daily car, at the age of 25 im getting lazy and fancy DSG.

I love the MK3, Love the LED lights etc.. seems a no brainer to me.. Plus the LCR is 4 years old soon

Each to their own, I'm still not sold on the looks of the Cupra, not enough to set it apart from any other mk3 Leon imo.

I do have a PMO account for VW with SEAT and Audi active, approved and cancelled projects.

I'm still waiting for my dealer to have a demo MK3 Cupra in so I can have a test drive, they look really promising. heard a lot of good reviews about them.

Noticed yesterday it has secondary inter-coolers at the sides with proper venting.

Are they definately intercoolers or oil coolers for the DSG? I am sure the Golf R (6) has the same set up but can't remember them being mentioned as intercoolers or oil coolers.

I didn't get a proper look at these yesterday, though Scott mentioned it while I was taking photos, kind of tuned out behind the lens. :)

I wouldn't expect them to be intercoolers, more likely they are some oil cooler setup as has been mentioned.

I am pretty sure the intercooler setup on the gen3 TSI is still much like the previous generations, where, Water Rad, air con and intercooler are sandwiched together behind front grille.

It's quite interesting how similar though the new gen3 1.8TSI engine is to the gen3 2.0TSI, almost identical arrangement, only real visual differences are Cupra on engine cover, and Cupra's washer bottle is on the near side raised, where as the 1.8TSI has its water bottle sunken into the offside front wing. Most likely because of the aforementioned extra oil coolers on the Cupra.

Obviously totally different animals in performance, but surprisingly similar layout despite displacement and cc differences.

On the mk2 Cupra you could tell the differences between the FR and Cupra engines from the divertor valve position , are there any noticeable differences on the mk3 Cupra ? And say golf gti engine
