not too mutch to add as yet , due the stressfull dash wireing ,, makeing slow progress but , so its some progress ,, so 2day i neeeded a break an decided to find some cheep seats after a quick clean i think they will do the job as they evern have runners so , easy to adapt
nice flat backs too ideal i reckon for a caddy

then made a decent strong box for the seat mount that shouldnt go any were soon ,and add some chassi strengh too ,
2j51kxi.jpg

then add to make a few adjustments as im 6ft 5 and not a lot of room with the size of the dash in a caddy ,,
ztd8iv.jpg

20r6x5c.jpg

have to get more steel to finsh the other side lol
i was looking under the wear the old leaf springs used to be and the chassi and wasnt happy with it , so , it had to be ripped out ,
as ive now realiseing i need a stronger chassi
w1xt6s.jpg

2hyl1ys.jpg

2mi3rqt.jpg

55ow1x.jpg

then thought might as well add the wideband , another headack ,because of were the exhaust is i had to make a hole back of the bulk head (2 layers of steel ) then because of the large plug , had to attempt to resolder stainless wire (nighmare /with a soldering iron lol) now sorted
8zr141.jpg
(still no gauges working thow/speedo/works lol
1t8v15.jpg

dypw5k.jpg

ogdzmc.jpg

then a quick filler neck start on the pipe
256frly.jpg

right 2day noticed the camber sticks out more on the fronts to the rears dose this wheel look ok to you guys as i think the botom of the wheel is towing out to mutch ?
xkxeyx.jpg

as after i was looking at the rear they had way too mutch inwards camber , maybe ok for corners ,but not very good for scrubing tyres off , and what a dam stressfull trying to algin the wheel, after getting it a tad lower i carnt risk anymore , so altered all the arms and also insurted a smaller box and stick welded them for extra strengh

5un0r5.jpg

then plated all the inner sides /front and rear up
2exlncw.jpg

then made a fresh gearstick mount
se66q0.jpg

ground it up as i had to add a 1inch to nothing angle , otherwise it wouldnt have cleared the propshaft as i dont want to removeing this again
5orq5e.jpg

just need to add a small plate and slighty alter front cables
least remotes high enoegh

i think this will do the joby , another modifyed part lmfao
bit more modifying today , first decided to make the gearbox mount shorter for more road clearnace , seems better , (nearly 2 inch removed)
2eltit4.jpg

more choping
v2s5dc.jpg

then went radiator hunting as that needed modifying too
then started choping that too as i wanted a big core , for decent cooling
16hnu5h.jpg

then removed the water pipes so they were on the same side of the rad
thought id have a go at radiator repairing lol
2mx4vti.jpg

also added a bigger fan switch too
29qnn82.jpg

rough fit
3yb7c.jpg

then added a fan , i may add too depending on how it cools the engine
xd8k6v.jpg

plenty of clearance now at the front
2vtpcmq.jpg

started with some pipe work seems to fit ok
20rr2ie.jpg

some quick brackets made and radiator done, i reckon it fills a hole lol
