lol yeah i know wat u mean. Its nice when it was "bling" but u need to protect your investment ;)

No mesh will stop a stone at 70mph.

Personally i dont like the bar cut out, way to 'in your face' for me. I might mesh mine tho to hide it a bit more.

for the fins you can use coil cleaner but cover up your paint work first you can buy it from any air conditioning shop i think its around £15 per bottle but it gets the air con coils clean and shiney every 12 months at work you MUST dilute it though .....

hope that helps ..

cheers matey, will try this

didnt manage to get any mesh last night, was in a bit of a rush after work, might go up to halfrauds at dinner and get some, the pics on the prev page looks good, especially the third pic, that defo made my decision easier

might not stop stones @ 70mph but it might stop them going slower

just rivit the mesh on bottom lip and under the bumper strip

plastic welding - aka lots of time using a soldering iron, melting the parts back together and adding extra plastic melted down to add extra strength and when finnished is as good as new, just have to be creative in re-using the parts you have removed cutting them to shape ect and reusing them

Would it be easier to use araldyte to glue it into place?

im just gonna use strong glue also,

Thats what i was gonna do, but theres not much place for it to bond onto, you'll see once the bumper is off. I tried to use pink grip, but just didnt really work. Best would be either to staple it or rivet it on. Otherwise good old zip ties.

No, true, it wont but will help a bit, rather it hit that than straight onto metal :)

You may have to trim a little bit more for the mesh to fit flush also. Especially on bottom left hand side. Seems to be a bit more tight there.

Best of luck

just bought some nice mesh from halfords, its black and it looks pretty similar to the honeycombe, also bought a fibreglass kit to fit, asked the bloke in the shop what was the best way to fit and this is what he suggested
the mesh was £20
the fibreglass kit was £10

hope this helps other people if they do theirs

Just meshed mine this afternoon, pics in a new thread.

When you look at back of the bumper there are 3 prongs which push into the crash bar.

I pushed the top of the mesh over these prongs which held it in place then when its pushed onto the car the mesh cannot come off.

I bent the sides of the mesh around the two mouth openings on the bumper then drilled 3 holes in he bottom lip of the bumper and threaded some cables ties through to pull the mesh down tight at the bottom :)

was actually looking at them the other day, was looking at the snooper and the road angle, they both claim to see mobile units but will it be too late by the time they see it and warn you ??

If your doing 100 down the motorway there is only so much notice you will get, but it will be enough notice to get you from the 100 mark to maybe 80. Also you could get the radar laser diffusers, have a look on our site.
