Your retainer clip isn't on fully, pull back the spring loaded lever and push the clip on further.

Also got sick of my old worn gearknob and so bought Hartys old one with absolutely no wear at all! Looks brand new, cheers Harty!

You can refurb this old one to look as good as new, the top gear selector plate is only stuck on.
Prise this off, carefully, then the worn bit is screwed on underneath this, back off the screw then you'll have the worn piece in your hand to paint ;)

I threw it out mate. The leather was all worn and nasty anyway.

Your engine bay looks nice on the pictures, but after seeing it for real it's amazing how it stands out!

What you buying next Lee?

Thanks mate.

Not too sure at the mo as just had to buy boring things like wheels bearings and rear discs/pads. :(

Downpipe and cat will prob be next, just not sure when.

Can't see why they wouldn't do it? Would be nice to have the calipers recon'd at the same time too.

Must be other places that do it, maybe more local too

A minor updated......

Decided to take the manky carpet off the bonnet and give it a quick scrub/polish!
I used soapy water, Megs Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner then some Auto Glym SRP.

Pretty pleased with it and it compliments the bay nicely. [B)]

Update time!!......Fitted a Blueflame downpipe and 200 cell sports cat today, to go with my BF catback that a fitted a couple of months ago. What an absolute PITA it was to do...but 100% definately worth! ;)

At low revs it sounds nice and quiet....boot it and it sounds lovely! Its not a horrible loud chavvy sound but just a nice sounding roar. The car now sounds as good as it looks! :D

Also fitted new rear discs and pads today. Didnt bother uprating them as i dont think theres much point on the rears.
