Hi all,
I hope someone can help me. I have a 2009 Leon FR CR170. I've done about 400 miles this week, most of which have been faultless.
However, today after about 200 miles I had a warning message flash up. I can't remember exactly what it said, but something along the lines of 'engine fault, garage inspection' or 'mechanic inspection'. Along with this the orange coil light came on and my turbo was disabled.
I pulled over at the next junction, turned the engine off, then back on. The light had disappeared and the turbo was back. However, my turbo prior or this event kicked in between 2400 to 2600 rpm, but now it doesn't seem to kick in until 3300 to 3500 rpm. There is very little power low down the rev range.
I tried searching but to no avail. I reset the ecu by disconnecting the battery but that hasn't had an effect.
I know today was extremely warm, and a lot of time was spent in slow/stop start traffic if this may have contributed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Neil
