I think bill posted a video on valve train testing which recommended 7250 as a safe rev ceiling. It showed valve float at 7500 rpm.

Try an sneak a video if you can. Have fun. Once you go above ninety the angel jumps off the bonnet but that only counts on the road, track should be ok.

Track days are not as easy or as straight forward as you think. your lines are good judging from the photo. I used to give my mk1 leon plenty of hokes and thought I was fairly good at staging it around back roads but when it came to a trackday at kirkistown for a trackday I was lost when it came to braking. I braked way too early then waaaayyyyy too late then sort of later but too heavily scrubbing too much speed for good corner entry speed.

It is fun though.

But yeah kinda broke it lol.

Got stuck In traffic around Brussels and was touch and go weather we'd make the ferry.

So got the hammer down and ran real low on fuel, with no time to stop for fuel we pressed on and got to the ferry 10 minutes before it left luckily. As I went up the ramp to top deck it cut out and wouldn't restart

Guess the fuel ran to the back of the tank and sucked air in

Even with that was awesome trip. Actually looking and driving around the Ring it's a big eye opener that no game or UK track comes close to it. Pretty special place.

No footage im afraid I got a few pics going round that's it. Best lap was my first 1 lol 10.26 iirc but had to slow down for a 3 car pile up and I couldn't enter the Caracciola either and I was lost 95% of the time

Going again with some slicks better ride height and a go pro camera and I'm aiming for 9minutes
