Sorry, I am confused what is the menu button?
Is it the one in the top right corner which looks like a page with 3 lines next to the globe and privacy settings.

So I was still on 1790 and eventually got 1899 onto it tonight after I had to reformat a usb and a few scary minutes of looking at a completly black screen but anyway. I now have CLIMA instead of AC and the screen looks slightly sharper also noticed the short cut to turn off stop start, lane assist and eco warnings through the big blocks on the home screen has been removed?
I'll run it for a tomorrow and let the OTA updates filter through. 1969 is currently loaded up ready to go when I have a spare 40 mins.

I bought my update from East Yorkshire and I note an additional VER file in the 1969 update.

Do I copy that across to the USB drive as well?

I am going to do the first update later on tonight, time permitting.

not 100% sure but I believe the MIO3 have the USB C below in the console.
Thank you, so if i understand everything...to update my 1788 software i have to do the 0870 update....not the 1805....

But the 0870 update is not available..

My english is not perfect and I'm not sure of everything...😁

not sure mate.

I am going from 1790 to 1899 to 1969 on mine, you should be able to do the same if the same unit?

It lives! Really quick to update from 1899 took about 20 minutes tonight.
No obvious cosmetic changes, will just have to wait and see how responsive and smooth it is over the next few days.

I probably should but I just use Google maps, in all truth I find the inbuilt sat nav a bit dated looking.

Up to 1969 tonight. Really liking the look of the font in it. It looks smoother than the 1790 I've had for 2 years.

I just received an OTA 2 days ago with some fixes (was already on 1969) and now the screen is behaving strange with lines during startup. It starts working normal after some time.

Has anyone experienced something similar?
