I couldnt recommend Adrian Flux enough mate. Ive just renewed my insurance with them for the 3rd year and didnt have any problems.

All mods covered and its only costing me £350 for the year. Thats with a speeding fine ansd well Im in a high risk postcode.

I'm paying £600 with adrian flux with ncb protection and all my mods declared, down to the roll cage lol they were cheaper than Bell/Admiral with just alloys & exhuast declared.

I never thought of ncb protection, may do that next year.

My alloys, exhaust and coilovers are all insured. It should probably be cheaper than that but I have a speeding fine :)whistle:) on there.

Oh and it doesnt exactly help that Im in a high risk postcode. Due to the fact someone passes there test then within a few weeks they crash and there car is a right-off. The number of them over the last few months thats did it is unbelieveable.

Im still happy with my renewal for this year though!!! [B)] :D

i must just be in a low risk area sumhow if its only 1000 to insure at 21 with no ncb. there were 5 cars set on fire in the past 3 months about quarter mile from my house. i wudnt say it was low risk. kept us warm tho.

That isn't cheap, when I was 21 I was paying about that but on the 16v (group 14) whereas the 8v is group 10. Mind you insurances charge different from year to year

Every trackday usually allows people to take thier own cars on track, unless stated for Testing then you can't

You've got a couple of corkers quite close - Donington Park just south of Nottingham but even better is Cadwell Park near Louth in Lincolnshire. We normally have at least one track day there a year where we get 15 or 20 of us up there. Tris normally organises and details are in the 'other events' forum.

Here's the thread of the last outing which I missed (
