So I put these

on yesterday (Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas) and took the car for it's first good drive for a while. Everything feels fantastic, although I had to take it easy on the new tyres and brake pads. Also I ordered some Dubmeister plates from Tuning Werkes in south Croydon.

Today i've mostly been removing the "cupra r" badges off the back, looks a lot cleaner. Now she just needs a good wash - if I can get myself away from the touring cars on the telly.

All she needs is a light tint on the LED rear lights (not the red bits) and a coat of satin black on the exhaust tip, manifold and charge pipe and she'll be ready for Germany, although I'm not sure I'll get it all done in time...

I figured I'm going to do it sooner or later so why not push the boat out and ride my overdraft. There's definitely a huge difference, she feels great. Since I'm off to the Nurburgring in a few weeks for the European SEAT meeting I thought I'd chuck all the cash I could find at her and pay the consequences later. Hopefully I can still afford the insurance for the ring!!! LCR ownership is financially ruining me but I'm loving every minute.

I know the feeling...my suspension strut failed so KW's for me and very empty wallet.

its not very well signposted but you can see the number 40 at the top of the garage door.

wow I just checked streetview and yes everyone can call me stupid, I did notice a big place with the MOT sign but didn't realise that was the place, also didn't notice the no.40 above it either... I'll be back up there when I have some money

I have recently got a LCR 225...in black, and your plans are similar to mine (although you've actually done yours)

Just gonna order the forge dv with yellow spring and do the boost hoses then book it in for an AmD map

How much did they charge for the MAF and other things on top of the remap itself?

I phoned them up last week and they mentioned your name as having an AmD map, but as this is only my tenth post it wouldn't let me send a PM to you lol

I have a green panel filter, and will have forge DV and uprated boost hoses ready for the map

And secondly, just how worth it is the map because everything seems to have great reviews, as standard and only a week of ownership i love the torque but the urgency isn't quite there

Excellent, I will check my diary and hopefully count me in, although I was hoping off getting in one day through the week fairly soon.

I don't want to do much more to mine, I'm very happy with it - well that and I'm skint now so can't afford to do anything else!

You can't really go wrong with the AmD map, especially with 10% off!
