Teflon spray arrived so I coated the inside of the air box and re fitted. Also removed the annoying but of standard feed behind the head light so my larger one fits just nicely!

Have you just placed it over the end of where the old intake pipe connects to behind the light!?

No I have taken that out as it is a lot smaller and restrictive.

Ordered these off of an s3. Just have to make up a wiring loom and get them wired into the dimmer switch.

May swap out the middles from my vents so they are red not white though.

I used black ones on mine.
Get some fine grade wire wool and autosol on that charge pipe and it will bring the shine out, is it a Forge pipe ?

Take the pipe off and do it where it's warm, autosol works better with higher temps. Always go over mine often in the summer for better results.

Liking the vents mate look forward to seeing those installed.

Cheers dude will do. They should come this week. I also got hold of the loom plugs that the vents plug into from another s3 being broken. Will make the loom a bit neater and easier. Il check your rr out before i do anything!

Stereo packed up a while ago so decided it's about time I modernised. All my music now being either on my phone or computer. So went and got this.

So got to fitting the dab arial and hands free mic. Took the glovebox out for ease of access to run cables and ran cables in roof lining and a pillar.

Pulled pillar trim off:

Clipped microphone on roof lining and ran cable up inside the roof lining to the passenger a pillar:

Then ran cable along with interior loom and tucked into dash area:

Dropped glovebox out. Only a few torx screws and pulled cable down from dash and ran to centre console behind radio.

Then stuck the dab arial onto the screen and ran the cables for this in exactly the same way and route as the mic cables:

Then rebuilt the dash and cabin area.

Before and after radio pictures. Forgive the fascia surround as this has still not arrived. Will post again when it's fully fitted.

When the fascia surround arrives il pop the finished pics up. Very happy with its functions and quality. Recommended. Would have loved a double din but did not fancy doing all the work changing the consoles. Very happy medium.

Just read through your thread mate, very nice car!

What's the sound quality like on the new head unit? I'm thinking of getting the same one. You going to upgrade your speakers?
