I didnt notice that until now, but i did think the bend looked a little sharp and not very free flowing.

Just rang him and spoke to him..

He said he's used straight as theres 2mm Room Between the rear engine mount and downpipe...He said he'll try and get some pictures to '' Shut the Internet Warriors up'' lol

He's Made enough downpipes and System so il leave it with him...I Can defo understand when he talks about the Lack or if any room down under there...

Im dreading taking the Bloody thing off...Hence why he's done it in 2 sections...

I'm glad that he thinks we're "Internet Warriors"

Shame I can't find the one that dan-ish fabricated, they were lovely - they even used bends & everything.

I'm sure room is very tight back there, that's part of the skill isn't it.

I think it'll give you hours of amusement to fit though - one arm at the top, one at the bottom - hope you're built like Mr Elastic

dunno, but if it was me, regardless of price, I would have got Bill to make it all up

all done under one roof, under one warranty and one central point if it goes wrong (look at the issues I have had is plenty enough warning to go this route) - this route for itself if stuff does go wrong and is easier to rectify issues

In alll fairness i dont think he was having a go at your mechanicle skills Danny, just the liability side of things if things go ti*ts up then you have no where to go to.

On all ihi set ups I've seen, the turbo has the top 3 holes threaded, and the bottom 2 hopes as clearence holes, so that the bottom 2 holes of the downpipe flange are threaded and the bolts go in from the turbo side.
Bill knows this, so I don't know why he asked the question.

The downpipe isnt that bad guys. Welding could be neater, but at least its tig'd rather than mig'd. I have a big dislike for mig'd custom downpipes. They dont look like cut straight pipes either.
