At last mate! My oil temp is in fahrenheit lol had to work it out

What are you holding the gauges in with mate? I have some bluetack for now

I just put some electricians tape rount the gauge to make it a snug fit, Steve :)

Nice pillar :D
Just wondering, do those gauges take a digital readout, or is the boost hooked up to the manifold? And where does the oil temp. take it readings from?

Oil temp has a probe that goes into the oil filter housing, there is a blanking plug that you remove to fit the probe into. Then just run the wiring into the cabin.
Boost gauge is plumbed in as any normal boost gauge, but the gauge has a small stepper motor that the vac line connects to that converts mechanical boost into a electrical signal.

Hope that helps mate :)

Looking good mate ! :)

Looks better lad!

Sure does! What gauges are those again? Haven't been able to find some with that nice red colour!

As Steve said, they are ProSport gauges clicky, but my boost gauge is one of the premium ones :)

Those gauges look ace damien!

Cheers Nick :D

Prosport gauges bud i have the same on mine but i have the white background light on they are nice gauges pretty cheap aswell :)

not sure if this intrests you damien but forge are in the process of making uprated pipes for the seat sport fmic to replace the restrictive pipes. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=271120

TBH Alex, I realy dont think they will make much of a difference. Maybe if I was going hybrid I'd think about it...

My inlet temps are fine even in the summer (Newsouth inlet gasket helps too) and my airflow is very good (circa 190g/s) so I think I'll save the money :)

Yea, its the same as Seve's. It does create a slight obstruction but nothing that worrys me.

Ric, I had no boost controll at all (even with a MBC) and could not find any splits in the pipework, so thought the actuator was fooked.. Eventualy found a split in the pipework that was just inside one of the hose clips, so very hard to see..

All sorted now though :)

Boost gauge direct from ProSport Gauges and pod from Nomad Racing (I got mine from the for sale section on here though)..
