Quick question, does your TIP get hit need the bottom by a black coolant pipe. The one you need to unbolt to fit the TIP? Would be interesting to see a pick if its the same as mine.

The metal pipe? if its the same pipe as on the leon you can force it past with a bit of grease but its bloody tight.

Yep mine jams up really tight to, I was thinking of taking it off and trimming half inch off the bottom but its a lot of hassle

Damo, What size is the hose/where did you get it from to run a cold air feed?
As I'm sure you've already seen there is NO WHERE else to run it from and I can't be arsed to drill my headlight!

90mm hose from here..

I trimmed about 15mm off the end of the TIP so it doesn't touch anything

New clutch needs fitting and I stripped a bolt hole in the turbo so need to helicoil that.....

oh yeah, you told me about the stripped bolt lol i need two new bushes on the back of the wish bone and a new wheel bearing

Lightened and balanced G60 flywheel and new VR6 clutch on order

cool i suppose your be sorting your manifold gasket at the same time as fitting that then? and the stripped bolt.

Depends on how long it takes to do the clutch, Alex...

All gaskets are fine at the mo too, just the stripped bolt hole to sort out..

are you doing it on a ramp? will it make much difference with a lightened flywheel?

We'll be doing it on axel stands mate, its all we have..

The lightened fly should help with spool up and rev easier

thats not fun doing it on axel stands i feels for you.

will expect a review on how it feels and what its like when its fitted.
then you got to get that catch can fitted you must have had that sitting around ages now
