Does anyone know how easy it is adding HIDs to the Fog Lights?
Would it be a bumper off job (hope not) and just up on axle stands? Also, I believe they're H4 fitting???

also got another kind of problem
With the 1.4, I just plugged in my HIDs and that was that. NEVER had any problems dazzleing others etc.
However, with the Cupra. Ganda Cupra put these in and said he had them aligned and set up correctly. He mentioned he was always getting flashed. Well, as you can guess, so am I now. I just flash back, but it's getting annoying.
Suggestions???
ok let me se if i get this right, 1 hid pack is for 1sets of light? if you want for both the near light, and full beam, you need 2 sets?
what bulbs are fullbeam and
what are nearlight?
and help me here, what is the differense on 6000k and 8000k etc hids?
You dont want HIDS as full beam, they take too long to warm up and would not 'flash'.
dipped beam, if you have a mk3 ibiza cupra will be H7 bulb.
when companies quote 4300k, 5000k, 6000k, 8000k 10000k and 12000k they are refering to the colour of the light emmited from the bulb / gas mixture.
OEM zenon's (proper ones you will find in the Honda S2000 and lots of hier end cars will have a colour of 4300k, this colour is perfect white. the reason they appear more 'blue' to our eyes is because we are not seeing the colour of the bulb we are seeing a refraction of the light as it passed past the cut off (a thin strip of metal that creates the 'perfect' cut off for the ligth distribution). as light passes by the thin strip the light will slightly 'bend' and this causes the multiple colours.. if you look directly in to the main area of the beam when in front of the car you will see an 'arc' white colour.
since you dont get that on standard refelectors most people go for the 6000k colour as this has a blue hue to it.. i have known a few people to go with 4300k and i must admit the brightness easily overwhelms the 6000k's i have BUT mine 'look' better.
