Bit of help from anyone...im getting a noise when im turning (at low speeds) sounds like the spring is moving! Saying that it has got alot better since fitting them!!

Anyone who has fitted coilovers to there mk 4, is there anything that sits between the the top mount bearing and the spring?? Ive got a funny feeling i have missed something out!!

Any help would be good as its booked in to the get the camber and alignment done on the 11th and if i have to drop the suspension then i need to do this before then!!!

Re-Map Time is here!

right-o.......i think its time for bumblebee to get a re-map, Been speaking to the garage that are going to be doing the re-map, and i have chosen a custom Rolling road map just so i can get the most out of it.

I am getting my downpipe and sports cat fitted next week, but should there be anything else that i should be looking to replace or upgrade before going down the re-map route.....i.e 4 bar fuel regulator??

Any help would be good....list of mods is in my signiture....thanks :)

Its upto the mapper if you need a 4bar fpr mate.

Only other things I would say are a forge TIP and DV pluss a high flow air filter.

I did ask the qeustion to the mapper and his response was....."you can put one in...i might or might not make a difference" so was just looking for some advice on here, i already have the 007p and a jetex cone filter, looks like i mihg thave to do some shopping on Forge then eh?!

Well I'm not using a 4bar fpr and I'm running stage 2 map. Never had one when running stage 1 either....

There would be no harm in using one... As long as it is mapped to use it. Not expensive. £15 on E38 ;)

Revo say to use them for stage 2, not sure what others do. Are you still going to Star?

well i did ask Jim the qeustion and said u can but might not make a big difference....

Yeah booked in now....just counting the days down for my little road trip to star! ;) Getting the downpipe done in a couple of weeks! Thinking bout puttin my green cotton filter and airbox back in for the dyno runs when i get it mapped!

Hows your car getting on??
