Mine started to condense last year. Left car running on full beam for 20 mins with 2 old sweatshirts covering the lenses, cleared :funk:

Started to come back though :(

I this will only clear it untill the rain comes back if you pop the bonnet and look at the top of the light you will be able to see where sealer has been put on from factory if you can dry them out again then put some sealer along the top this should help as i found a crack in my and it seems to have worked ok

Good news, i managed to get rid on the water droplets in the headlights. Full beam with towels covering the lenses and the caps off the back.

However.... my driver side headlight now has a melt bubble in the middle

What an absolute tit i am, i really should just leave well alone.

Any idea how much for a new headlight from the ****ing stealers? :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:

wind noise
bushes
headlights misting
randm lil things not put on in factory seems no order to it
hight ride height
windscreen freezing on inside!

I'll stop now!
Nothing mechanical on the TDI that I know off so I am happy, had the bushes, freezing screen and wind noise!

Have a look at the thread 'you know you have a mk4 when.....'

Im just a bit annoyed atm tbh.

Any car can have faults, but when its a continuing fault through the entire run the car was in production, with seemingly zero attempt to fix or correct the problem.

Its that "**** it, that'll do" attitude that i cant stand.

Couldnt find a cupra one, are they different? Link if you could?

Are they hard to fit?

No difference still a Twin Headlamp... It's a bumper off job to fit though...

Headlamp - Note the holding screws on the the bottom of the unit, number 18.

Front Bumper - yes the image is of a pre-facelift, I'm sure its the same proceedure for facelift if you have it.

Have a look in the FAQ Section for how to remove the bumper http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=199
