Hah yeah perhaps. My friends all think I'm weird for keeping my car so clean..
They ask my why I do, and say all they use is water and a sponge. and sometimes fairy liquid
They laughed at me even when I mentioned 'car bodywork shampoo'![]()

Get Collinite 476S wax instead then, works very well, only costs £10-£15 and by far outlasts the HD wax! It's been on the 'rents A6 8 months and it's still beading well!AG EGP (wanted HD wax but wallet couldn't do it)
Apply the polish with microfibre cloths, and buff with nice clean ones, I had a stack of 20-30 MF cloths ready when the A6 mentioned above was detailed!NOOB question - what should i use to apply/buff out the polish/wax??

I'd apply wax with either an MF pad or a foam pad though, then buff with MF cloths. The pads allow you to waste less wax when applying, so your tin lasts longer.
See link HERE for what I bought, Colli 476S wax kit with applicator pads and MF cloths. Or HERE for the wax on it's own.
