Pictures of the remotes :)

Decided to remove the key pattern (insurance purposes incase the car is stolen), so please excuse the blurriness.

Indeed it does :)

Hold the button for a second, hear it unlock (all doors remain locked, boot open). Open the boot, close the boot and everything auto locks instantly :D

Cost £35 for the remote, £12 for the blade pre-cut to code. £47 total, and also now have a spare blank key :D

The key cut to code (£12 delivered), saves faffing around with getting it done at a key cutters, and will work 100% if you know your key code (last 4 digits of the SKC which came on the tag with your keys when new.

Okay I was watching the ridiculous amount of rain come down over the last couple of days, and I am doubting the performance of HD wax... Yes, it still beads but it does not sheet water properly like it did when first applied (only 1 or 2 weeks ago). I have a 6 mile drive to college (up to 50mph in some places) and a lot of rain water had not run off the car by the time I had reached it.

I decided to go for some FinishKare 1000p Hi-Temp wax in the hope of greater performance than AG HD wax, added to the fact that it's meant to be really glossy as well (unlike HD). It cost only £18 (with £3 delivery) for a larrrgee 15oz pot, and will be trying it out on Friday after my exams have finished.

I agree that the beading on hd wax is maybe not the best, seems to slow down after a couple of weeks like you said. Can tell it's still working when you wash the car though as the water sheets off nicely. I think it leaves a really glossy finish imo, did the parents car with 1 layer srp and 1 hd wax today with these results:

It's really easy mate. Just take a couple of hours, being very careful with the transponder. Other than that, you can't go wrong!

If you do break it, it's only £20-30 from an auto locksmith, to copy your existing remote info to a blank transponder. So it's not the end of the world if it does happen.

They are usually stuck with glue... Evidently yours wasn't which is VERY lucky.

Takes a LONG time using acetone and a sharp needle, as it's soo fragile, and the glue doesn't dissolve easily at all.

Nope, I won't be selling the HD :p
Not much left anyway and I have my brother's mx5 and dad's defender to do next week. I'll let you guys know how it goes, might even do some 50:50 of FK and HD when I do my next detail.

I still can't get over how big the pot is... Easily twice the size of HD, at about half the cost!

Had my first drive in the Abarth today! Had my parents with me, for the first drive, and went to a restaurant. The roads were wet so didn't get to push it, however my dad told me to put my foot down on a few occasions to get used to the turbo and acceleration :D Will be using it for the next 21 days (all I'm insured for), and will have a trip to Goodwood in it! :D :D
