Went to seat today, had the guy in the car with me whilst reversing and it did it quietly twice. So around 5 ish he took it in the workshop.

After an hour of me watching stupid bbc news in their waiting area for an hour I get it back, apparently the back plate (front drivers side) was slightly bent which may of been hitting the wishbone whilst on full lock. (Means nothing to me really :p ) He said anything could of bent it like a stick or a stone. So he bent it back a bit and when I got home went out and reversed it a few times and hear nothing now!

So hopefully thats it and coilovers will still be getting fitted monday :D

Car is in the garage for coilovers :D

Have asked for it to be about an inch gap between wheel and arch. Which should be perfect. We'll see later though. Anything is an improvement anyway!

Bad plan. Mine sat at +1inch for about 2 weeks, then took it the rest of the way down

So, took 3 hours instead of 4.

Supplied them with 2 5mm spacers for the front (which they needed) and shorter drop links from a ford puma. (Which they also needed)

Asked for about an inch, but as said...it may need to go lower :p gotta go back in 2 weeks for wheel alignment after settling, plus need new tyres anyway so may ask them to adjust slightly and put spacers on the back.

Now for some quick snaps. These show why black wheels are rubbish to photograph!

All raised up.

It could go lower but we'll see after 2 weeks.
As for the ride, its better! It actually feels smoother, i'm not jiggling around everywhere. Very happy.
Just need some spacers for the back.

But, after getting them from Loz (thank you :D ), its been nearly a year! Just excuse the dirty car, all this rain and hosepipe ban doesn't help.

hahaha, be quiet. I would, BUT. The last time Loz tried to the aeriel off it wouldn't budge! I thought he was gonna pull my roof off.

Wooohoooo about time, this coilover saga has gone on almost as long as the twilight saga!!!! :p

Car looks great :)

Lol! I hate those films so much :p

Thank you though, gonna give it a good drive later when I go out.

Thanks for the comments :)

They are V-Maxx tricksc. If you get them, I advise a pair of universal 5mm spacers off ebay for the front and shorter droplinks.

Small change, I must of been dreaming saying the ride was better. Went out tonight doing usual speed of 60mph and its bumpy lol. I must of been on a smooth road before.

No knocks though and looks great.
