It hasn't stopped raining here apart from this afternoon lol.

I'll see what its like at the weekend and just do a two bucket job.
Thinking of getting some universal 10mm spacers for the back, each side.

Thanks for the comments :)

They are V-Maxx tricksc. If you get them, I advise a pair of universal 5mm spacers off ebay for the front and shorter droplinks.

Small change, I must of been dreaming saying the ride was better. Went out tonight doing usual speed of 60mph and its bumpy lol. I must of been on a smooth road before.

No knocks though and looks great.

cheers for that char, was looking at v-maxx coilovers for a while but now going for JOM coilovers instead, have heard good reviews about v-maxx in fast car mag over the last few years nearly bought some for my old lupo but i just left it on lowering springs.

So, took 3 hours instead of 4.

Supplied them with 2 5mm spacers for the front (which they needed) and shorter drop links from a ford puma. (Which they also needed)

Asked for about an inch, but as said...it may need to go lower :p gotta go back in 2 weeks for wheel alignment after settling, plus need new tyres anyway so may ask them to adjust slightly and put spacers on the back.

Now for some quick snaps. These show why black wheels are rubbish to photograph!

All raised up.

It could go lower but we'll see after 2 weeks.
As for the ride, its better! It actually feels smoother, i'm not jiggling around everywhere. Very happy.
Just need some spacers for the back.

But, after getting them from Loz (thank you :D ), its been nearly a year! Just excuse the dirty car, all this rain and hosepipe ban doesn't help.

3 hours to fit coilovers?? What were they doing?? My Apex springs were fitted in an hour last night! Sitting about the same height as mine now :)

Slight difference between coilovers and springs?
They quoted me 4, 3 hours was quick to me so I'm not complaining.

Thanks Row! Still need to sort the badge out you sent. Probably pop by Halfords at the weekend and get the paint and pop it in the Jetwash Loz! :p

How?? You still need to remove the shock body regardless of wether it's just a spring or a shock & spring, the whole lot comes out as one piece and goes back in as one piece! Except with the rear where the rear springs literally come out in a few minutes and the rear shock bodies are a gift to remove (15 - 20mins max and that's being generous). I've fitted coilovers before and the job is exactly the same!

Looks well though

Well either way, regardless I know they did a good job and I can trust the garage. They fitted the droplinks and spacers I gave them and it was a good price at the end.

I was there for at least half an hour checking out the ride height before all 4 wheels went back on.

But i'm happy, just have to wait for them to settle and see if they should go lower and alignment.
Thanks though Gaz :)

Just put a few pics of mine up in my RR thread there, only phone pics but it's come down a good bit and looks a lot more respectable now :D

Small update.

First off.
Better pic, for some reason sepia shows the wheel and gap up better.

And.
After a lot of tugging and pulling and trying to reach the bloody thing...the aeriel is off! I'll give it to SEAT for their anti-thieft aeriel.

Ta-Da!
Short stubby aeriel. OOH-RAH!
