Slightly wetting myself over what I've found on ebay...i've been waiting SO long.

The seller needs to get back to me asap.

Edit: Meh, dream over. Knew it was too good to be true.

FR Bumper on ebay, candy white. 99p starting bid. Which is actually an error apparently and its £250 to buy. I'll stick to my sport bumper.

That's rubbish news :( I was lucky to get mine, don't think the seller realised what he had lol. Hopefully you will get one soon :)

Its really rubbish, even though I told him I couldn't afford him he then sent another message saying about how he can't stress how good the condition is and it'll bolt straight on.

So i messaged back pretty much saying Its all well and good saying that, but as before, I still can't afford it due to car needs.

The thing that pisses me off is the fact he STILL has the 99p bidding option on it. False advertisement.

So the guy selling the bumpers has pissed me off, there are now 2 bids on them.

Annoyed as he told me that was an error, messaged to ask if he is accepting bids and if so...i'm gonna try make it mine!

Its my boyfriends brother, dunno whats going on with him. I've been quoted £189 to fit coilovers. And thats a fair bit of money.

Dunno though, we'll see. I can't get them if he doesn't text me back as I need him to be at the unit.

£189 just for fitting??? You're having a laugh right??? That's extortion!! I've never paid any more than £50 for fitting. It's really not difficult enough to warrant paying £189 for! Who quoted you that Char? coz they're taking the piss

A local garage, you're looking at hourly rates which are at least £40. An hour per wheel for coilovers, at least 4 hours maximum after fitting them, putting it back down adjusting till all corners are correct height. + VAT.

I got quoted so much more by other companies, a sponsor on here in Portsmouth quoted me over £300! Now that is silly. I'm more than happy to pay that as it'll be done well and the garage can split payments.

Not a big update but I'm going along to the garage this week to book my car in for coilover fitting for somewhere between the last 2 weeks of April.

Ordered myself some autoglym engine cleaner, not done it before and its the only part that doesn't get cleaned.

And, ordered a clay bar kit too. Not done this before, but I'm fed up of the tar and I'm finding that my autoglym tar remover doesn't work well. So hopefully can get some good results.

Thats when I wanted it to be done, gives me time to buy the other spacers and drop links once I figure out when money I have remaining after my service on monday. It'll go fast I'm sure lol.

Whoop whoop! Roll on 30th April :)

I have dropped mine completely all round and taken the adjusters out of the back, this lowering business is addictive, my mate who has a mk4 fr has lowered his 120mm which looks great and he is thinking of sticking it on bags. If only I had the money lol. Your car will look and handle so much better when you put your coilovers on. I'm saving for some spacers :)

Haha, I'll go as low as I can Giz! Defo been a bloody long time coming. I know April 30th seems so far off but with my 2nd service monday I need to see what money I have left after.

@Loz :p be quiet!

Will get some pics up of the pressed plates.
On an annoying note, ordered car tax last week. It runs out tomorrow...it's still not here. Cool!

As asked...

So I had a little delivery today, I opened the package to find this:

It proper spun me out as I didn't order any chiptuning device lol.

However, this was inside.

My first clay kit.
Washed the car today, ready for its service on Monday. Had a go with the clay, which to be honest, didn't amaze me. It didn't remove much of the tar :( one bad thing about white cars is the tar.

Back to looking white again and shiny and wheels all polished and dressed.

Quick shot of the shine.

Everytime when I finish, I can't help but say "Bootiful car" haha.

Though my wing mirrors are taking the hits recently, whats the point in folding them in?!
