The virtual tight pants syndrome. I think a lot of the
Ateca ones were guys with tight pants keeping their keys in their pockets and lounging around at home. The solution to that was to set convenience opening and closing off.
In your case it was a random signal. Leon 4 manual calls that the "
Convenience close function windows".
So toggling to off would probably suspend all windows dropping. The re locking will have been auto locking if no door opened. In hot climates in Europe drivers returning back to the car bang on the door open button, long hold and they all fall down together before they get to the car. That's a long press on the remote open button.... hence the tight pants syndrome or virtual

There was a one month or so production issue on the
Ateca in 2016 when the motorised tailgate opened by itself. Mine fell into that one of duff programming of the control unit but never opened on its own but didn't work either. Had to be changed and re-coded after delivery. That was a known build issue that went on for a month.
Formentor and Leon 4 seem troubled with system
coding issues of random bus data.... last theory the sun particle burst

I reckon you will find a toggle in the menu to turn off convenience opening / closing... we don't get hot weather here. That will probably stop the windows all going down together.
