2016 Leon - weird issue with driver door locking itself

Hi all,

I've got a 2016 Leon 1.4 FR which has developed a weird issue with the driver's door lock over the last month or so.

When I first unlock the car in the morning, I typically open the rear passenger side door first so I can get my daughter strapped in. I then open the driver's door and find it has locked itself. When I unlock the car using the fob, I hear the driver door automatically locking immediately and I can't get in. I then have to open the door from the inside by entering via one of the other doors (all of which are unlocked).

I can't seem to replicate it, it only happens first thing in the morning (and doesn't happen every day, it maybe happens about once a week) and only seems to happen when I open the rear door first (might be coincidence).

Any ideas what is happening here? I guess my main concern is something is slowly failing and will completely fail soon.

I've looked through the locking settings and can't see anything that might be causing this.

Thank you in advance

The wires can get faulty in the rubber boot were it goes from inside the car into the door as ther allways being bent

Maybe it thinks the car hasn't be entered so it locks the doors again so u press the button on the phob then dont enter the car after a certain period it will auto lock or ur lock is faulty and sticking now an then so if u unlock open the drivers first everything is fine
