Nope no difference at all when you hybrid them, i asked CR themselves. You'll also need a 3' MAF housing, turbo back exhaust(sports cat or decat)and manifold aswell as everything else everyone mentioned.
You 100% sure? I was thinking that that would be the case for reasons I mentioned above. I am correct in thinking the housing etc on the k03 and k03s are identical. The only difference is one has 8 blades and other has 12. When you drop in k04 internals, the blades come out regardless if k03 or k03s. Thus using the same housing?
You thinking ko3 hybrid Mat?
Yeah......... Although in theory, everyone who says they are running k03s hybrid are also running k03 hybrid, as the part that makes it a "s", ie the blades, have been removed?
Surely it'd be the same thing
Finally, can anyone confirm that a hybrid k03 and hybrid k03s will both give the same power outputs........ (ie, same car, same turbo internals on both etc)...... if a hybrid k03s is good for say 280-300, would a hybrid k03 be good for the same? Just concerned with this post
CR Turbos are able to hybrid-ise these units as they replace the compressor housing altogether
Orrr, take it to Alex at Backdraft and see if he can make another ~250 BHP out of one![]()
