yh it was me who asked that

if you have had a exhuast isit a preformance exhuast ??

sometimes things such as exhuasts , some remaps etc can make ure cars mpg go a little bit lower so it could be your exhuast ??

what were u gettin before ? and what are you getting now ?

even if you do fit a preformance exhuast you shouldt be gettin anything less then 40 mpg

hope this help[s :D

Well after it was fitted I dent notice much diff in mpg. It's been bad long before that and has just been getting gradually worse. Although I never saw 40mpg I think that's a bit optimistic

Had them changed at the garage when they did service so didnt see but defo rich as post lambda sensor is reading -3.9 or -3.1 So its trying to lower the level of fuel added

My MAF reading is spot on, peaks at 202g/s on a stage 1 map from will @ p torque so thats all good.
So list of defo good
Air/Oil/Fuel Filter
Plugs
MAF
DV
Thermostat
Temp sensor
Coilpacks (ALL)
Cleaned AIT sensor
Cleaned MAF sensor also just incase

Could the fact ive had to drive with 3 coil packs running a few times for 20 miles or so to get a new one caused problems? Im just clutching at straws now.lol. Neither of the lambdas seem to change in readings, any tests i can do to check items such as these are working??

I guess the next things to try would be n249 and n75? Any others I should be checking/changing/testing? Have a mate with an s3 so easily all available

What should i be seeing then lee after stage 1 remap? Assume you reckon thats too high? If so you reckon thats why the car is chucking in too much fuel? MAF is reading too high so trying to fuel for those figures? Just thought that was fine as ive seen others with that figure

Just a note. I had my car tracked the other day. I know it doesn't sound like help on your engine but stay with it. Whilst the car was in the air I noticed the Cat baffle was only hanging on by two screws. When we went to fix this we noticed that the wires that lead to the pre/post cat sensors had been touching nicely on the exhaust. There is a piece of heat protective shielding on these but it was starting to burn through and was onto the cable.
I haven't checked what my sensors are reading yet but it's worth a thought for you. Hopefully I haven't got a problem with them but I need to check at some stage.

Just had a read up on lambda sensors and they should read a voltage between 0.2v and 0.8v (lean to rich) so will do a log tomorrow

on block 32 im getting 0-0.2% adjustment on idle so spot on but -3.9/-3.1 on boost so its defo a faulty part just what

which lambda does block 32 refer to? pre or post cat?

I had my rear lambda changed as it was dead, would only fluctuate every now and then.
My mpg round town is better, i can see 28-29mpg which is what it used to be when i first had it mapped but its when im on the motorway or dual carriageway i see about 22mpg which is slightly confusing.
I assume its cos throttle is open more on motorway/dual carriageway. I am still seeing 5mpg in each gear when i put my foot down but used to read 5,5,13,13,13 on full throttle after remap so there is clearly something wrong

I'm also confused with you seeing worse figures on dual carriageways/ motorways. On my way to and from work this is where I gain all my mpg as I'm maintaining a steady speed with a nice warm engine. I guess you are using the onboard computer to get mpg figures? Does the remap have an effect on what these read? Either way what you are seeing has confused me unless you are toe ending it on short motorway runs rather than longer steady runs. At least your ironing out all the little glitches in the car.
