The Wirral. Just over the mersy from liverpool.

It was a first depot but stagecoach have literally just taken us over about a month ago.

Comes in handy if I need something doing to my car as I can borrow tools and stuff from the fitters. Don't think any of them has a tool box like yours though.

Nope not me lol. Well when I say funny, it's funny to me......basically just the amount of stock they kept in their stores, apparently they kept enough brake shoes to be able to re-line every dart in the fleet, and still have spares. Like I said, it's funny to me. Lol.

It did make me laugh, but only because it was funny to you. Lol

Tbh under first our place was a joke. Hopefully things will turn around under stagecoach.

Probably not the most exiting update, but trying to keep the ball rolling. I been working away midweek so I never have too much time, got home early today and got a few precious hours in. Basically, I had temp: modded the wiring loom just to get it to run, in this professional manor .....
C438DD2C-3C2E-4A17-AE85-45B8095DFE6F-16308-0000048DEC9708B1_zps38ec0b73.jpg

Yes I will be soldering in a lovely plug and making it nice later. When I had it running first it had a misfire, open circuit to injector 6. Which had been worrying me, as to get to injector six, a lot of stuff needs to come back out. Basically, I jabbed it real hard with a long stick. Cleared all the faults and today I ran it up again....jizzinmypants.jpg. God did it sound sexy. And introduced me to the neighbour! Shut it down and read the codes, 7 active. Fortunately nothing to worry about, 4 are for heater circuits for the lambdas, so hopefully that's all one quick fix, if anyone knows what supplies them? Then the other 3 for SAI, Evap and the exhaust flapper, all of which I don't have, so should be easy to just jam a resister across the wires....when I find them.

My new power steering pipe turned up, which I also thought I would have to strip the front end back down to get the PAS all plumbed in, but thanks to now having an engine bay that I don't care if I scratch, I managed to fit it with everything in place. In like, 6 mins. Just need to get some oil, and then the engine ancillaries are all complete, and not much left to do! (I decided to add a picture of the pas pipe, just because.

Brilliant work, good read through this thread.

Why not just do the bay white? White hides allot. Black is the most revealing colour, even in satin/matte finish. Also why didn't you flush the rear towing cover? lol

Looked awesome on air, can't wait too see how it turns out this time..

You are right with the white bay, and it was a toss up between the two, still it might get repainted in the future.

As for the towing cover, there are a few things that really irritate me when they mod. And that is not planning for the future, or doing a mod just for the sake of modifying. I have seen several cars have bumpers ripped off trying to tow them after the cover has been smoothed. I know the chances of having to tow or be towwed with the rear of the car are very slim, but Sod's law and all that. Also, do you not thing 'smooth' can go too far? When I see cars with all bumpstrips removed, door handles removed, it just looks utterly reduculous. You need to retain some OEMness or it just looks like an egg with wheels.
On the not of planning for the future, I made the huge faux par of not planning for a front numberplate. One thing I learn't is you must have one, you can't get around it, so make sure you have somewhere it can go without looking like it was just a last resort!

A nice flat grey maybe..

I suppose your right regarding the towing eye, if I had to tow someone and wrecked the bumper I would cry lol. Love the fact that you left the door strips on.

I read that you had 'chassis tech' air ride in, if you don't mind me asking how long was the postage wait? And roughly how much did the full kit come to? you can pm me or tell me to p*ss off lol.

It was quite a while ago now and I can't 100% remember, but delivery was really good, well under 2 weeks. I think all in it went around £1300 but don't quote me on that, and that was with a few optional extras. Yuri was awesome, and was in though, by phone call to go through the options and sort out payment.
