1.9 TDI FR - Why so juicy?

Are you checking what the actual average trip setting is saying not just the one that resets its self every 2 hours when you turn your engine off? And do you reset it every time you fill up?
My trip computer on my cupra tdi is within 0.4 of a mpg to what it is if I work it out manually.

Yeah im checking the second one, 1 is the 2 hourly thing and 2 is the ever so many miles.

Its REALLY inaccurate which leads me to beilieve the car should be doing that mpg but somethings stopping it :S
