maf

hi, my cupras running rough, so i want to test the maf sensor, but i dont know where it is, or what it looks like!, i have tried the search options, but i couldnt find anything regarding the location of the sensor!. please can someone point me in the right direction. thanks

quick question would vag-com pick up a dodgy MAF or is the only way to check it by tacking it off

Did a log on my car the other day, superCupra did it off hear for me, think we were in 3rd and Maf hit 200g/s +, car runs fine though as i unplugged MAF and still did the same problem im having, just wandering why its running that high, on stage 2 Ko3 Cheers Rob.

i got a leon cupra (not R) and want to upgrade to a 3" Maf but does the sensor swop straight over from the stock MAF? i no they are different sizes but im just unsure

Hi all, In an attempt to find the cause of my damn hesitation i unplugged the Maf and did a run.The car performed as well as if it were still plugged in - idle good,performance good. The question is do you think it should perform better with the maf plugged in or is the maf just knackered?

will my car be ok running a 3" maf housing, but with my original sensor in it will my ecu learn to correctly fuel my car, would like to know asap please because i fitted it tonight and have got to drive it 2morrow and do not want to damage it cheers any help would be much appreciated!!!!
