maf

Im not too sure wether this is the right section as my gt2x isnt really a ''Big'' turbo.. But here it goes... I done some logs last night and im getting stupidly high timing pull and Low Maf reading a 3'' tube?

at what point when doing a big turbo conversion do you need a bigger maf housing than a TT item ?

If anyone is bored and has VAG-COM on a PD 150 can you check something for me please. Goto Engine, measureing blocks and open block 003. Can you report your MAF requested and actual at idle?

i've fitted an elbow joiner between my maf and air filter to move it closer to the wing. just wondering why soime people have moved the maf next to the air filter, and some have kept it near to the TIP. surely it shouldn't make any difference??

Did the above to try and find out if the MAF was causing my poor boost problems. I never noticed any change in power but the car did stall at every junction I came to ? So from this can I/cant I take it that the MAF is fine ?

my maf is knackered in my car it has a 3" maf do i buy the tt/s3 maf or do i buy a standard maf and change the sensor over? cheers

ive recently had my car checked for faults and it had a maf sensor fault and a dumpvavle fault so ive had a baileys dumpvalve( recirc) fitted and now its just the maf sensor any ideas how much?

I have been looking on GSF parts, and EuroCar Parts. But on GSF I cant find the MAF to suit my engine code. (03) 20VT Cupra Leon, engine code AUQ. And Euro Car parts have it, but their website dont work. Any one else reccomend anywhere else??? Thanks

Is there a 'specific' angle the plug on the MAF should be set at? If so, why? I have just fitted a cone filter and mine is sitting like this.
