Nice ride
Quick questions. Why is the cupra r badge on the front bumper? I've only ever seen.ot there on my car. Is it aftermarket? Yeah, vagyard isn't too far from me. I contacted him about buying a car, as someone said he sometimes has them up for sale. And is there any regard seat car meets? Also, should I keep her standard?
Nice ride you've got there! Keep it mint like it is. That cupra r badge isn't standard on that front bumper. Only on side wings. I personally don't like it on the front bumper - I would rather see it on the upper right front grill or nothing at all.

You did read it right @g60stu. @Dazzalcr, the whole car is in amazing condition, the inside looks brand new. I'm going to say it's the.best thing I've ever bought.
I'm 43 @BadBoy03, so it's not too bad. I was going buy one and do some mods, but I'm thinking it would be better to leave it standard. Apart from.the air filter and exhaust that's already on it
Lol, apologies. I misunderstood as you said you didn't have your licence yet 🤐
Enjoy, it's worth every penny 👍

@Nam-uk do you leave a trail of smoke? What happens to the door locks?
no not that bad as you think, most grey smoke is at cold once run it fine its short journey's that cause it more but like any engine they need a run now and again, The main issue with locks is the micro switch that activates the puddle door light and its all connected to the central locking so if door is open and light is off the car thinks your door is shut and self locks or when open door the inter lights wont come on, also the motors do burn out but complete after market locks are around 22 quid the Genuine last i seen were £200+ I payed 160 before now but aftermarket do the job the lock issue on the leon mk1 is not isolated as it it across allot of Vw range, also its the labour on top of lock so that could be 400+ quid a side, so its defiantly worth looking at doing your self

@Nam-uk I've seen some modded diesels that smoke loads. I'd most probably try to do it myself. I know there's lots of advice on here. So 8f something does go wrong. I'll post something.

Some modded diesels Its the map that causes that you can map out the smoke but you get less power, any good mapper would advise not to much smoke as it attracts Vosa and police and on top of that its a better drive as its not all about grunt and less stress on engine ect but some owners are not bothered as their not bothered about keeping a car long term, yea the locks are a bit of a curve but once done it get easier and you'll save a fortune, ive got too a point of stripping them and swapping out parts to make a working lock.. not as bad as you think

Not so much what I've done to my car today but I've just taken possession of this absolute beauty.

Full billet aluminium 1.8T rocker cover that I had shipped over from USA and the finish was pretty appaling considering the cost so I sent it off to a metal polishing expert fairly local to me and got a lovely brushed finish on it. (I didn't want mirror bling much to his surprise)
