I have both apps installed and running. The old one gives the notification you ask about, in 9 out of 10 cases (maybe). The new one never gave me any "complete charge" notification, but occasionally it tells me "the air conditioning in your car has stopped" (or something similar) - in situations when I wouldn't expect such a message, with the car parked, and with no input from me to start the cabin climate control...
The old App is by far better, I can see all trips using it; the new App misses information for 8/10 of the short trips. Is is as if the two apps don't use the same servers (which I doubt...)

I have exactly the same experience with you. The new app is by far worst than the old one in terms of information related to the car. I wonder if we should all tell the developers and give them one star for their NON effort in correcting it after so long

Have just noticed (for the first time) a notification that the car has completed charging. Not that it tells you what the notification is for, just that there's a notification. Whether my phone has sorted itself out, or there's been an app upgrade I'm not sure!

True as from last week, we are back in receiving notifications that the car is charged. One down.....several to go ha ha ha

Next question is: How do you read the notifications? I had two this morning, one I assume was to say the car had charged, but when I found the notification page (following the alarm bell icon in the top right), there were no notifications listed so I have no idea what the other notification was....

I see my subscription on Seat shop page . They should have integrated this into Cupra app like the previous version

This new app is again a flaky product.
It does work a bit faster than the previous one.
At first it showed me car unlocked and I live in apartment had to rush down and visually check if it's really unlocked 🫣

It's been worse since they updated the app, I have grey text on a grey background that means it's unreadable, and ive lost some functions like preheat or turning on or off the heated seats. Hopefully they'll fix it, but given VWs track record I dunno!
