Hi i just lef my Cupra Formentor with the same problem at service, i will update you what they are gonna say. On the test drive, they said its probably the problem in front axle suspension bearing.
33000 km , this is 3rd time i reported this problem, 1st in other cupra service where they told me they are gonna check on other cupra formentors. (No response from them). 2nd time on the same dealer when i went to change oil, then they said that they had 1 cupra with same problem and "they changed everything" but cant fix. This time i went to other cupra service, and they told me that is probably front suspension axle bearing.
Update: I picked up my Cupra and it sounds good. I dont know exactly what they have done, but they told me that they put something special silicon grease somewhere on shock absorbers. Sorry becouse i didnt quite understand it, but somebody maybe could explain that? What is important is that its not ticking anymore, at least for now.

There are a few places on the suspension and steering components which can be topped up using a grease gun; silicon grease is injected into parts with rubber fittings predominately.
It's the sort of thing that should be covered during any service. It's not like they were spraying WD40 everywhere... hopefully!
