Big in the Middle East people driving around with TV on the infotainment screens. Illegal in the UK.
Not sure about Middle East, nor about UK. I needed it to play from time to time some movie clips for my kids sitting in the backseats. Have been doing so for years now, does not distract me.

Needs someone to look for it on the Leon 4. Some people got stuck on their Leon 4 lighting once they changed it on the built in screens to white and couldn't change it back. A firmware error. Not sure where we are on that one. Possibly has some relevance.
Well, when I unlock the car only the indicators are flashing, and I don't get the horizontal red light come on.
Also when I use the indicators the are flashing at once (on the rear) . They don't light progressively
this app was created by a cupra leon owner, comfort turn indicator on the seat leon cannot be changed in any way. if you want I'll tell you where you can find and modify them by hand without using the app ... but you won't be able to modify it anyway

Is this one of those useless micropayment apps offered by Obdeleven where some say just code it with the Pro. If the micropayment app goes wrong you can be stuffed since you dont know what it's doing or done when it went wrong. As I've warned it's like when you get an Excel sheet macro that screws up a spreadsheet. You really don't want to debug what it's done and if you haven't got the Pro license you wouldn't be able to correct it.
The micropayment apps are put out to challenge the app providers and users of them that want easy solutions without any thought. To do it properly you need the Obdeleven Pro license, cough up and program which means toggling menu settings, researching and using your brains.
all the encodings that I have published here I have passed them to obdeleven, for free to create apps for those who want to use easy things and who think they are not able to modify their ECU by themselves. Unfortunately not all apps are tested. That cel confort turn signal is just a rip off it doesn't work. the part is completely locked on the seat leon and does not allow any modification. Not everyone is able to find solutions on their own and those who find them hardly share them. for this I have shared everything I have found on my own and what others have found.

Boards are full of the code and also publish like on this thread. Think you are better off publishing the code on boards rather than giving it Obdeleven for them to spin money on closed micro payment apps that aren't being QAed. Call me old fashioned

I do not understand if you despise what is shared or do not agree that I pass the encodings to obdeleven.
You are supporting a commercial operation for them to flog one click micropayment apps which we know they don't QA well and can lead to issues. Programming with Obdeleven is easy enough as you know so only requires the screens to to be published. Finding the specific menu option for specific models can be tricky. This is where you expect good boards to show the Obdeleven Pro steps for specific car models. The independent Obdeleven board also shows them and discusses the mod. Post 292 should really have been directed back to Obdeleven since they posted an app that doesn't work as you pointed out.
People that "code" with Obdeleven warn people not to be sucked into the one click apps and that goes for all of the dongles. Obdeleven caters for both users, those that want to code and those that want to be lazy sucked into advertising. That later has risks since it can corrupt the cars modules and you have no way back. Coding you reverse what you did.
Coding isn't really "coding" as such but toggling the Obdeleven screens or in some cases the byte edited. The micro payment apps are macros which just run the edits. But as Excel sheet macros you get given in the work environment can cause havoc when they go wrong.
If you are hacking the cars configuration that should be done via coding rather than macro with a possibility that they screw up the electronics of the car. Simple as that.
I can see in previous models, that the obdeleven users made some fantastic posts with all the knowledge they had acquired about coding the car. Is anyone here making some sort of compilation they are willing to share? Thanks.
Mine is a Cupra Leon but strangely OBDeleven detected it as a regular Leon. As in it showed an image of a regular Leon instead of a Cupra Leon.
I have the pro license and is comfortable to do coding manually if guided to the exact modules to make those changes. Have done a couple that was shared here.
Would definitely appreciate if you can guide me in the right direction.
I was hoping it was going to be @Tommy95 the original poster to the thread. Good stuff on the thread and on the Obdeleven forum. The material maps across to the Formentor where I did a bit of cross fertilizing on there with this. There is a German PDF on the Formentor which is useful for Formentor's. That guy is doing a PDF and updating. Perhaps Tommy needs to do the same. The originator can always edit their posts other than that you need moderator privileges and lock threads so they dont ramble. Rambles are fine if it's brought to the top.
Tommy can always bring the good stuff up to the key #1 post or write a resource which sits off the side of it. Another way... or any others offers to do the key post.
