Just to run the pipe for the gauge electric’s all inside the car just need to remove the drivers side lower dash

Most people run them through the main harness plate on the drivers side beneath the scuttle tray.I'll probably sound stupid asking, but how do I get the hose that comes off the MAP sensor through the bulkhead to the lower dash?

I used a screwdriver with a smaller diameter than the pipe I was using and pushed the screwdriver through the rubber Gromit with all the wires that go inside the car cleaned the rubber gromit and pushed the pipe through then once at the required length I used a bead off silicone on the pipe and around the hole in the gromit and left to dry for a bit try not to move the pipe once done as you need a good seal so l left till last once it was all in place the gauge worked and all wiring was done as some slack is always a good idea inside the car it’s best left till finish for this part
Mine has been good no leaks

So after a couple of hours changing settings, I ran the autoscan on the car... and it works. After what's probably three years trying to get something that talks to my car, I'm over the moon.Looks like this will be a job I'll be doing this weekend then. I'll probably start by trying the electrical side and making sure the thing actually works, and then I'll concentrate on routing the hose. It's raining this weekend so at least I'll be in the car.
The driver's windscreen wiper could do with a slight repositioning anyway.
Got my Gendan cable yesterday but didn't have any instant success. I've read the stuff about aftermarket stereos though and I do have both an aftermarket stereo and an adapter harness too, so I'll unplug all that today and see if that makes a difference.

At least you've got yours. I booked for Hermes to pick mine up from the guy I bought it from a week last Saturday. Guess who knocked on my door today saying they were there to pick it up? F***ing Hermes. A week and a half late and they come to pick it up from the house they're supposed to be delivering it to.The good news is the ARBs turned up.
The bad news is the wife answered the door.
"How much did they cost??!"
It turned up today and its in mint condition.does the watch have a working cup holder?
A wolf in wolfs clothingJust leave this here.... bit more tinkering today.. View attachment 28629
Fitted the Maxton Design spoiler cap (gurney flap type thing)

It's not bad, the glue tape is STRONG (had to prise it off when positioning it which was nerve wracking).
Fitment is... not the best because the tape holding it on stands proud so you have a bit if rocking, so I applied some electrical tape to the leading edge to get it to sit right
Also fitted some Michelin Stealth windscreen wiper bladesbut didn't take any pics because... they're windscreen wiper blades
If the tape ever fails use gorilla grab adhesive it wont come off then lol , https://uk.gorillaglue.com/gorilla-glues-and-adhesives/grab-adhesive/ good gear that I've used it around the house doing diy inside and out..Fitted the Maxton Design spoiler cap (gurney flap type thing)
