Thanks mate . Ahh nice how far have you got with it?
Its currently got the following.

Ramair oversize intake
GFB recirc valve
Catback Miltek
Stage 2 Airtec intercooler
Vis freewheel
Helix organic clutch
Superpro dogbone insert

Need

Downpipe and decat
Runner flap delete
Rs4 valve
Stage 2 plus map

Then ill get it forged. Do you know if its worth having the supertech valve train done at the same time?

Just looking at your photos I’m thinking I know that place. I’ve been to ARM before never seen this outside tho. Do you live local to ARM? I live in Basingstoke but am always up that way.

I certainly do!! I know Andy from ARM well. I used to work out of the unit next door to his but we moved to Greenham business park a few years ago.

If you’re going to effort to forge the engine you might as well fit super tech valves but from what I understand, you can get valve float due to build up of back pressure but fitting a 3.5inch helps reduce the risk of lift.

Ah small world I know afew people at greenham business park too. I’ve been working around that area for around 10 years and one way it another know most of the car garages in that area. I’ve just brought a black mk2 now finally after seeing your paint correction I’m definitely going to have mine done professionally I think I was tempted to try it myself but I want it done properly.

After a year off the road the Mk2 is back!!!

Unfortunately my Mk3 was written off recently but fortunately I kept hold of the Mk2 and it will now become my daily vehicle!!

Treated the old boy to some new wheels Revo RF018’s in bronze.
