Yeah 4wd indeed. Only mods a Stage 1 ECU and TCU and intake as well as some good fuel.

Put new batteries in both fobs, swapped over and started using the pristine spare, put the worn tired looking one back in the cupboard.

Collected my 2019 ST FR 2.0tsi dsg. Two and a half hour drive home, v impressed with average mpg of 52.9! Diesel skoda I traded in didn't do much better on a run. Helped by 7 spd dsg I guess.

Oooh is that the 190 bhp engine? Not many of those about, I wanted one when I was hunting for my car - couldn't find one anywhere so ended up with the 184 TDI instead

Yep, wasn't particularly looking for the 190 but popped up on auto trader in Mystery blue which I love the colour of so went for it. Smiled all the way home from collecting it!

Argh, very jealous!!! I test drove the 1.8, but it just felt a bit lacking Vs the 184. Wanted the 190 TSI in either the maroon colour (seemingly rare as hen's teeth), blue or the dark orange... Cue 3 months later, found absolutely none and I ended up with a grey diesel 😭🤣

Enjoy, looks an amazing choice! Get some pics in the sticky thread too 😘

Just changed the air and fuel filters, will do oil tomorrow when it arrives:

I didn't bother using OBDEleven or VCDS, I did what I usually do which is to trickle fresh diesel onto the new filter until it's right at the top of the container and screw the top back on. It started immediately without a single cough or splutter.

Made a comparison of Aliexpress RGB footwell LEDs and OEM Audi footwell LEDs. Aliexpress on the left, OEM on the right.
Conclusion after extensive testing:
- AE LEDs are much brighter than OEM
- AE LEDs ds cannot dim to a value as low as the OEM LEDs
- AE LEDs are about 40 to 70% cheaper than OEM LEDs
- Functionality is equal
- Fading from one color to the next doesn't happen on AE LEDs, it's more a direct switch in color
- AE LEDs take some time to turn off after dimming them completely. The OEM LEDs respond faster to the controls.
- AE LEDs are fully compatible with the OEM RGB LEDs.

Some more detail about the comparison:

I can confirm your findings. Having retrofitted the rear AE footwell lights I noticed that they were brighter than the front OEM ones. So I changed all of them to AE ones in order for all of them to be the same.

AE might be brighter but I don't find them to be annoying during the night.

AE: 3AD947409

Agreed. I've got static red ones on mine - fitted the kit to add rears (in white) and noted they were much much brighter, so got all 4x in red for equal brightness

These are the RGB ones (see the link I posted for the other colors), and while I was skeptical at first... I'm totally convinced of these cheap LEDs! I'm currently doing some LIN-bus experiments with them, adding multiple LEDs and switching between various codings to see how the LEDs (and OEM ones) behave.

How does the RGB work with regards to existing wiring? Can you swap them out for the standard lamps on the existing loom, or do you have to replace the existing loom and tap the feed for the door RGB lighting? Just thinking I've already run the extra wires for non RGB rear foot well lights (which spur off the fronts) - and really can't be bothered pulling all the wiring and refitting a new loom!

Been busy the last fortnight, fitted rear spoiler extension from AliExpress, last weekend had a rear resonator delete with twin 5x3 exists along with a Cupra Maxton design rear diffuser.

It's pretty straightforward.
The RGB LEDs have 3 wires: 12V, GND, and LIN.
The LIN-bus is a wire that comes from the BCM, Pin 29 (see here: https://www.drive2.com/l/594408631433191482/)
You can keep using the 12V and GND from the original footwell lights. However... you need to do some coding to make sure the LEDs behave well.
Maybe I should write a guide for this, and put it in resources,

But basically this is what you need:
- Module 9, adaptation, channel "Leuchte30FR". FR Stands for Fussraum here, which means footwell.
- Make sure the bulb type is 36 - LED kleinleistung.
- Light function AB: Fussraum / Footwell
- Dimmwert AB: 127 (default was 100, but needs to be 127 to prevent dimming of the LEDs by lowering the voltage.
Then, go to channel Ambient_lighting_in_slave_groups and make the following changes:
- verbauinfo group 13: single color
- lichtfunction group 13: Footwell
- verbauinfo group 14: 3_not_defined
- lichtfunction group 14: Footwell

Then make sure you set p_ambienteumfang_mehrfarbig_HMI to 100, to enable the footwell to be RGB instead of single color.

Guide lines don’t move but it’s the cheapest of cheap cameras it didn’t state they would so not unhappy about that bought a camera that went into me number plate light so didn’t have to drill holes,

Removed rear bumper fed wires thru the air vent on back left rant them thru boot under rear seats to front,

Up into fuse box and used a jumper fuse connection on a switched live from fuse box

Bought a vw aux plug from Amazon removed the pins and added them to the back of my unit in the glove box.

Next thing is to use a obdeleven or carista obd and activate the rear camera on the head unit.

I followed the sub on here for the rear camera fitting went really smooth.

All in all think it cost around £50
