I would have thought wheels would be an easy upgrade. Are you dealing direct with Cupra/ VWFS or a broker?
I ordered it through Leasing Options.
They're just crap at communication. I have an account manager who doesn't manage my account. I've spoken to everyone else but him.

That’s not good. Presumably any changes to spec have to through them. Leasing Options seems to come up a lot. I looked at them initially but got a better deal through Cupra and VWFS

Any chance his first name is Paul?
Not Paul. Haha Although someone else is looking into it and is going to get back to me today. So I'm hoping for good news... Or some... Whichever haha

Leasing Options had the best deal when comparing and were competitive. I used Nationwide Vehicle Contracts before but they didn't seem keen to retain me after the contract was up.

I also didn't know you could lease with a main dealer
I've also ordered through Leasing Options, however even though updates have been slow, as there isn't anything to update. When I've had any queries my account manager Gemma and Georgina from customer services have replied really quick with the information I needed. Before I placed my order I went to a local Cupra garage for a test drive. I enquired about the same spec I was going to order through Leasing Options, they couldn't come close to the deal I got. It ended up about an extra £120 a month with 2k fewer miles per annum.

No issues with Georgina has been good. I know there's not much she can do though when it comes to asking for upgrades or additionals. I did the same in test driving at a cupra showroom. It was literally... Here's the keys. Bring it back in twenty mins..... Haha

I chased up the LO customer service mgr who said she has recieved an update to say it has been built but she is awaiting confirmation. She will get back to me by the end of the day....... I'm guessing she has 10 mins left haha

I unfortunately had the pleasure of the salesman sitting in the rear when I test drove one hopefully you’ll get some good news

The dealer has come back and advised that basically no change. It has a confirm build and so should be built but due to the component shortage its not yet completed build and still at factory. As soon as the status changed to build - left for EU port, the dealer will let me know.

I do rely on the dealer updating me and hes not always regular. Please drop me an email in 2 - 3 weeks and Ill get a fresh update. If I have any changes prior, Ill let you you know.

So ill check back in in a few weeks haha

Followed up by a really nice phonecall from someone at Leasing Options giving me Options.

The Service has really improved in the last 24 hours and from the email above, I'm guessing they're just as frustrated as we are with communicating updates.

Hopefully won't be too long.

Well,I cancelled my order for a vz2 310 last week because there was no foreseeable delivery date (ordered mid may) but I've now ordered an in stock vz1 245 phev in magnetic in its place with delivery in a few weeks time!

The delays may well have done me a favour in the end as the attractions of owning a phev have not been lost on me after the last few weeks fuel shenanigans have illustrated.

I also tow a small Basecamp caravan occasionally so having a engine for that side of my driving life is probably sensible although at home I suspect we will use the 30 odd mile electric range 95 percent of the time due to our shirt commute and travelling needs.

Getting excited again with the prospect of finally getting my hands on my cupra.

What were your options?? I ordered in May and I don't think I'll see delivery this side of Xmas. I had been told delivery 11th Oct but when I contacted Cupra was told nope, car still in production awaiting parts
