Me too several months ago. the tensioner doesn't last long with a seized freewheel pulley on the alternator. So, after 20 years, the alternator pulley seized. That put a considerable amount of effort onto the belt. Result: the belt tensioner cracked! 3 hours later and 300€ lighter, the problem was solved: new alternator core and brushes, new INA pulley, new GATES belt and new INA belt tensioner.
Changed my gearbox side mount and what a difference! Yay

At least for me, all the aluminium thread came out with the bolt on disassembly.
I didn't even get the chance to overtighten it.
Bodged with a coarse metric thread helicoil kit, some old bolt and blue loctite.
Drama!Just dropped my car off at the garage for full service and cambelt kit.
Picking it up on Saturday. Fingers crossed for no dramas.
Drama!
Got a phone call today saying my car isnt ready.
Service done but wrong cambelt kit turned up so the car is sat on the ramp unfinished.
Hopefully monday now.
I agree. Got the use of my other halfs car for work on Monday.Could have been worse - could have been much worse.
