Interesting that the 2020 model had a low res camera, at least I know mine is definitely newer because the camera quality is fantastic (still got plenty of software problems nonetheless...)
Alec's car must have had more faults than average car with system errors. I also read Polish group and there are couple of people with very unlucky cars, however rejecting car in Poland is almost impossible, so they go back and forth to the dealer. Someone collected brand new car and had issues straight away with DSG box and electronics. Someone else bought car as a gift for a wife, but already sold it after being fed up with problems and got Mercedes GLB 35.
I'm sure there are some horror stories on German group and in other countries.
That sounds illegal. Here in Ireland I had to sign a document withdrawing my power of returning the car after 30 days so the dealer would sell me the car, otherwise they wouldn't. Seems to be a common thing done by dealers here.
That sounds illegal.
Yeah, I know. Often times dealers/companies try to force things onto customers that would not hold up in court. I'm not sure of exact legalese but I am betting there is a EU regulation about it and that companies can't legally void that right (regardless of what you sign).I'm not sure if that would hold up in court, but that's what happened
Quick update. My car is going back to the dealership for more fixes.
Dash is showing multiple errors, and the infotainment screen is not turning on at all anymore.
Let's see what they say it is this time.

Keep a detailed log of all faults. It’ll come in handy for any goodwill from Cupra later on.

Might be easier to keep a document yourself and keep adding to it like a diary rather than try to track down emails afterwards. That's a really good advice.
Everything is being sent to them via email. Hope that's proof enough in case some action is needed.
The dealer's service manager has proven to be a really good one. Nothing to complain there.

Wow Andy...you win this one! Keep us posted mate and hope they get it working again. Though if you were to reject it after this...then I am sure no one will argue! Can I top everyone’s faults today? Car will not start at all. Doesn’t even attempt to turn-over. It’s flagging all these faults in sequence:
Lane assist, front assist, rear traffic assist, dynamic road sign display, and finally drive system: please visit workshop!
To their credit Seat were very quick to respond to the breakdown call and a nice lady took down the details and offered either an AA technician within an hour or Cupra technician within two hours. As it’s parked on the drive and I’m in no rush to go anywhere, I’m waiting for the Cupra tech to arrive... could be interesting.
