This is the one I was looking at:

It's the same part number that Darkside have on their website for my car (don't forget I'm running the black stuff) and at the price including a flywheel it seems like a good deal - and I'm not getting red flags about the seller.

I can't remember how much the same kit costs without the flywheel, but I know if I were to buy it separately, the flywheel alone would be hundreds.

I think I should be able to put a modest remap on it as well without destroying it.

Unless anyone has had any bad experiences with the seller, I reckon I'll snap it up.

Emptied and cleaned out my catch can, about 20mm of watery gunk and it stinks.
Started to fit strut brace but can’t decide on hex bolts or cap screws

The car on the out side is going to be black. But in side it, the engine bay and the under side is going dark grey.

Lol Id love too.

In a few years (fingers crossed) i hope to but a super low miler low owner car and keep it stock.

It appears i already have 'the toy' but nowhere to strip it and no way to get to work.

We'll see what happens 👍

FML two of the stainless bolts have picked up within the Rivnuts - AARRRGHHHHHH.
Have had to remove the bonnet strut so I can shut the bonnet, plus rain on so will have to wait so I can grind back some more of the strut brace

my dilemma for the last year lol

working from home has been a god send

I've kept an eye out for Cupra Rs on eBay, but lucky for me they don't come up much unless they're being broken. To be honest I like the efficiency and fuel consumption of my diesel but always feel like I'm missing out on something.

With all the money I've sunk into my FR though, the missus would destroy me if I bought another Leon and not the Transporter I'd been talking about building into a camper.

Dont feel like your missing out bud.
The diesel is way more torquier.
I miss my cupra D. Had the 150 and got it remapped to 180hp. Could pull a house down.

I bought my R last February. The thing with it is, it doesn't really start to get lairy untill its past 2.5k rpm and in reality thats when you normally change gear.
Id does go absolutely ape sh!t above 3k lol but in normal use, it doesnt happen when popping to the shops if you know what i mean.

Id have another Cupra d in a heatbeat.
