Fitted a new spring and refurb kit in my forge diverter valve today.
For some reason the bottom of the piston and sealing edge on the body is slightly pitted so may replace the lot at some point.
On a side note, those of you that have these fitted. Its worth taking the piston out and cleaning it all in there.
Ive got a receipt to say my dv is only 3 years old.
And due to the grease in there going all claggy the piston WAS STICKING.
You could be losing power here people!
Worth checking anually.
Also its easy to do. I give it 1 spanner lol.

My turbo smart kompact is very similar in design. Although turbo smart say to install it so the boost pressure comes in th inlet on the bottom of the piston. When it opens the boost has to wait till the piston is up. I don’t know if that makes sense but it makes a nice flutter sound
