Car is back on all four wheels. Everything's tightened up, so hopefully I'll get back to Brighton with maybe only a few knocks on the way. Then it's taking the wishbone out and getting that snapped bolt out. The thread for the drop link isn't that deep, so I don't think I'll have any real problems getting it out. Maybe after a couple of days soaked in PlusGas it'll just wind out - I know the other side went in easy with the threads cleaned and some copper slip on the bolt, and if the worst comes to the worst, a new wishbone is £35...
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all their
help and support. It's been a super stressful week with things not going the way they were supposed to. Glad to have the car at least driveable for the time being so I can get home, relax for a few days and then work on getting the bolt sorted before the MoT at the end of the month.
Only question now is whether to do the bushes while I've got the wishbone out...?
