Hi guys,
I’ve got a 1.4 LEON FR DSG. I have a resonator delete booked in on Saturday? Any advice? Will the exhaust fart? Will I fail MOT? Etc.
Thanks

Looking at the size of the nut on the bonnet lift ball joint it's an m8 or 13mm size nut....
I could be wrong it looks bigger than the 3 bolts holding the strut brace as it looks smaller so guessing it s m6 or 10mm spanner size. I would say that m6 is too small and I would go up a size and use m8 bolts with the biggest washers you can get on the under side or even cut them to a more oval shape to help spread the loading
If I get a chance I will cut or draw some thing in a bit and post a pic

Spotted these... look a good upgrade for the breaks on the leon.. any air flow must help. Can't see why they can't be made to fit a mk1
Interesting, by the looks of things they simply cable tie to the lower arms.

Went for a poot to the petrol station. Now my dv when I come off of full chat is fluttering. Half throttle it’s only a tiny bit, boost gauge is normal if not holding better boost than with the oem dv, should I be concerned?

Where can I get a decent repair manual and a proper electrical wiring including fuses diagram ? - Looking online and they are all crap or not for the LCR when you start looking into them ?-(

Ive got plenty of ideas for solutions, but sourcing those ******* little ball end bolts is so hard. I have one here buts just over 10mm and too big to fit in the lifter strut. if i can get hold of one of those then its problem solved lol

think im gonna have to bring down to you asap mate and pick your brains

Didn’t the mk1 TT have these fitted, am sure I saw this somewhere that someone installed them to their mk1 Leon

Try fitting your bonnet strut to one on your boot lit.. as they are normally m8 thread then you can put them at a scrap yard easy enough then
