You know 500bhp will always be nice but I wouldn't want to remove the drivability of the car. I feel about 350bhp with all supporting mods would be perfect.

I remember back in day hybrid turbos were lucky to make 310bhp and now they're 350 ISH and without the lag of a bigger turbo.

People don't mention a 300bhp Leon drives great. The pull is great. Wouldn't want to ruin it

So I bought a catch can today. Was something I was never really interested in buying due to the ball ache to fit, but because I'm having vacuum problems with the brake booster and all the PCV the only way its finally going to get mapped by R Tech (3 months and counting) is to sort this out.

I had bought all the PCV silicone piping for the PCV Before I got there and I initially thought this would be fine, but was told it's actually the PCV valve that can't handle the boost so it has to be deleted. Cue the catch can. Would really like to somehow keep some of the hosing in the bay from the pcv as it looks good.

Anyway, looks an ok bit of kit for the price.

Also been looking at upgrading the Inlet manifold as once again the finish on the polished one is looking dire. So I thought about a SEM one but they only do large port nowadays.

I only ever want to stay small port with standard throttle size. I really do not want to intrude on the drivability of the car and I think going bigger than a hybrid you do...

Just wondering if I will actually gain so much air it may be detrimental to the car and it's running or if it may have a great impact on power and torque. Who knows. There's literally hardly anything on the net about it. Even Cupra net too actually. Unless you wanna go massive power which I'm really not.

Here's a pic

Yeh after a while you get bored and/or other things take over. But maybe 2 years ago car had been sat a little while and (obviously battery was dead) but jumped it and drove it and I missed driving the car. Hence why I'm going full attack ATM.

My garage I have been using for years keeps asking me why I just don't go for a Golf R and I keep having to justify my decision by answering THAT I LIKE DRIVING THE CAR. It still feels good, it's planted, it will hopefully stop very well now also. Plus it's not my daily anymore so why get another car?

The mark 1 LCR was a lot of car for the money now and even back then. So I'm just making a good car better I suppose. :)
